But what exactly is expositional preaching? Is it simply preaching verse by verse, or is there more to it? They discuss why the shape and emphasis of the biblical text should govern the sermon, why preaching the whole counsel of God protects churches from a steady diet of the preacher’s favorite topics, and why faithful preaching is foundational to a healthy church.
