Salty Believer is a ministry resource hub built around Scripture, the gospel, discipleship, and the local church. The goal is not to chase trends or offer spiritual cotton candy to people who need God’s Word. The goal is to help Christians think biblically, grow faithfully, and serve the church well. Here you’ll find resources on theology, Bible study, preaching, church health, discipleship, Christian living, and ministry leadership.

Start with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Christianity is not mainly moral advice, religious improvement, or vague spirituality with a cross-shaped logo. It is the good news that sinners can be reconciled to God through the life, death, resurrection, and reign of Jesus Christ.
I Want to Grow in God’s Word
The blog includes articles on Scripture, theology, discipleship, church life, preaching, and Christian living. Some posts are devotional. Some are instructional. Some poke bad ideas in the ribs because bad ideas deserve it.

Salty Believer Unscripted is the podcast side of the ministry, featuring conversations about theology, ministry, the Bible, church life, and following Jesus in the real world.

Start with resources on preaching, church health, discipleship, leadership, and ecclesiology. Strategy matters, but biblical character and healthy churches matter more. We are not trying to sell silver-bullet ministry strategies. We are co-laborers with you in the trenches of ministry, pointing back to Scripture, the gospel, and the health of the local church.

Salty Believer is run by Bryan Catherman, a pastor, preacher, teacher, and ministry leader committed to Scripture, the gospel, and the health of the local church.
